Refunds

Refund Policy

Effective: May 1, 2026 Last updated: May 1, 2026

The short version

30-day money-back guarantee on your first Premium subscription. If RadTechPrepper isn't a fit, email [email protected] within 30 days of your first charge and we'll refund you in full. No forms, no hoops.

Cancel anytime from Settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; already-paid time stays Premium until the end of the current period.

1. The 30-day money-back guarantee

We offer a full refund on your first Premium subscription purchase if you request it within 30 days of the initial charge. This covers both Monthly and Annual plans.

How to claim:

  1. Email [email protected] from the email address on your account.
  2. Tell us you'd like a refund. (Telling us why isn't required, but it helps us improve.)
  3. We process the refund through Stripe within 3 business days. The refund typically appears in your bank or card statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. We can't refund to a different card or bank account.

2. After 30 days

Once you're past the 30-day window, refunds are not generally available. Two exceptions:

3. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription anytime from the Settings page in the app. Click "Manage subscription" to open the Stripe Customer Portal, where you can:

Cancellation is not the same as a refund. Cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current period. If you want a refund, ask within the 30-day window above.

4. Failed payments

If a payment fails (expired card, insufficient funds, etc.), Stripe automatically retries on its standard schedule. We give you a 3-day grace period of continued Premium access while the retry runs. During grace, you'll see a banner in the app prompting you to update your payment method.

If the payment still hasn't gone through after grace, your account reverts to Free tier. Your study progress, achievements, and account are preserved; you can resubscribe and pick up where you left off anytime.

5. Annual plan, mid-year cancellation

If you cancel an Annual plan partway through the year:

6. EU / UK consumers

If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, you may have additional statutory rights, including a 14-day cooling-off period under EU consumer protection law. The 30-day money-back guarantee in this policy is more generous than the statutory minimum and applies in addition to (not instead of) those rights.

Note: when you start using digital content immediately on subscription (e.g., opening a chapter or starting a practice quiz), some jurisdictions consider this a waiver of the cooling-off right. We choose to honor refunds within 30 days regardless.

7. Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please email us before disputing the charge with your bank. Chargebacks are slow and adversarial; we'd rather just refund you. We're easy to reach.

If a chargeback is filed and we believe it's in error or in bad faith, we will dispute it with documentation. Accounts associated with bad-faith chargebacks may be suspended pending resolution.

8. Contact

We aim to respond to refund requests within 1 business day, and to process approved refunds within 3 business days.
